Legal Cashier Role Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a fast-growing, award-winning law firm based in Manchester City Centre. You will be joining a friendly accounts team and will be working in a positive working environment. As the Legal Cashier you will be reporting into the Finance Director.

Legal Cashier Responsibilities:

• Processing client and office account transactions
• Posting receipts, payments, transfers and write offs
• Monitoring and managing client account balances
• Dealing with office to nominal transactions.
• Processing of the online BACS & Chaps Payments
• Client account reconciliations
• Assisting with billing
• Maintain accurate financial data within the practice management system

Legal Cashier Experience Required

• Experience as a Legal Cashier in a law firm environment
• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Organised with a strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational skills and communication skills
