I am currently partnering with one of our International Law Firm clients with the recruitment of Legal Cashier to join its busy Accounts team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave (18 months). This is a hands-on role supporting colleagues across the office and working closely with the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing client and office receipts in line with firm policies
• Setting up electronic payments and managing internal bank transfers
• Supporting client money transfers and calculating interest on transactions
• Ensuring client balances are returned promptly and in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Supervising AP cashiering and assisting with ad hoc finance tasks

Key requirements:

• Previous experience in legal cashiering is essential
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and client money handling
• Experience with AP and office cashiering, including multi-currency transactions
